I am board-certified physician in both anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. My main areas of clinical expertise are neonatal and pediatric anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and pediatric cardiothoracic anesthesia. While much of my clinical work has focused on caring for complex, critical infants and children, I am qualified and routinely care for patients of all ages undergoing all manner of interventions.

My academic interests are varied, but much of my work has focused on novel anesthetic techniques for neonatal and awake neurosurgical procedures, regional anesthesia in both adult and pediatric patients, and perioperative transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography. I am also interested in incorporating point-of-care-ultrasound — performing ultrasounds at a patient’s bedside — into routine perioperative care. I routinely present my work at regional and national academic society meetings, where I also frequently teach workshops to current and future anesthesiologists.

As a lifelong learner, I try and incorporate current best practices, as well as novel anesthetic techniques to provide superb perioperative care. I also aim to treat every patient as if they were a member of my own family. I feel very fortunate to truly love what I do for a living and honored to help care for people in their time of need.
