Anesthesiology; Pain Medicine
I am double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management. I see patients at MSK Commack, on Long Island, for their chronic cancer-related pain. I also provide anesthetic care for surgical procedures in the operating room at MSK’s hospital in New York City. I am a clinician-educator for medical students, residents, and fellows who rotate through our service.
My clinical areas of interest are interventional pain management of cancer-related pain and cancer treatment-related pain. I focus on using nerve blocks, cryotherapy, radiofrequency ablation, neurolysis, nerve stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery for best pain control. I work with other members in our division to research and create new evidence-based paradigms to treat chronic cancer-related pain. My academic interests also include perioperative pain management and preventing the formation of chronic pain through neuraxial and regional anesthesia.
Doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering work as teams, with specialists from all different areas. This allows us to consider all your needs together, and to give you the best possible care.
