I am a medical physicist working in the Department of Radiation Oncology at MSK’s regional facility in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. My work covers almost all aspects of physics support for the delivery of radiation therapy, including treatment planning for sophisticated external beam radiation therapy, which delivers optimal doses of radiation to the cancer target while sparing healthy tissue, and for image-guided radiosurgery, which uses imaging technologies to monitor the delivery of high-dose radiation treatments. I work extensively on our quality assurance program to ensure the safety and quality of our radiation treatments.
My research interests are broad and diverse. I am particularly interested in integrating advances in modern molecular biology with our understanding of how normal and cancerous tissues respond to radiation damage.
I am certified by the American Board of Radiology and licensed and registered in both New York State and New Jersey.
